It started like this
A peaceful protest for the last park at Taksim square
People were reading books and singing songs and camping there.
You thought this was police brutality?
I remember shitloads of people reacting fiercely to this image.
THIS is police brutality…
They came at night.
Scattered the people with tear gas and burned down their tents
They burned their books and belongings along.
They beat everyone down, regardless of their behaviour.
They made them choke,
Those are not beer cans nor they are empty cans of energy drinks
THOSE ARE EMPTY TEARGAS CAPSULES.
Clouds of teargas and orange gas and god knows what gas.
they made them cry,
they made them drown,
they made them faint,
they made them bleed
And they made them die.
It is not accaptable. It is not excuseable.
We will take our stand!
